I was 17 when this aired.....and now almost 20 years later, still love them. You might ask me what got me started on this 'kick'?? Well, I was looking around Youtube and found out that JD {the nut from Switch was out} and a new fresh breath of air was in -- Ciaran Gribbon.
Yes!!! It's like time stood still forever since Hutch left us, and no, the band can continue forward.
In other news, I have been doing admin for the past three days. I spent 2 hours editing DE's website {just one page}.
I will write much more over the weekend... promise!! Well, another post is coming just pics!! Love pics.

Almost February

It is almost time for the special month out of entire year ..... FEBRUARY!! It's my birthday month, too.
I was sick yesterday, so alot of work did not get done. I am catching up today. I downloaded alot of music off Amazon Fri night!
I worked on placing ads, Twitter acc'ts, websites, and my newsletter.
still a little tired.

I have spent most of the day working--doing admin work. Preparing for an audition, RDC II auditions, my rehearsal, and loads of computer work. It seems to never end!!! On other news, I begun taking ballroom lessons again {for the umpteenth time}. But, I think I have an interest in my teacher and visa versa. That's all that I am saying. I'll see if this has any future or not. Hopefully, the former.
I have started teaching hip hop again. It's only one genre of dance--hopefully, it will lead to other genres {smile}.
The ex--well, he's just that. I am so tired of his meaningless emails and non-exsistant thoughts. A new year--a new interest--well, I can dream!!

December -- still fresh

Tomorrow, we are off to Meyerland to get some of those Xmas gifts and go to Target. We did not see the movie-but much rather wait for the Black Swan! I am here at the library doing a bit of work - really need a computer of my own {had one...but yu know what happened to that}! Will recap next week..... Happy weekend!

Well, the lady did not respond back {for mom}--but, it could be nothing at all. Yesterday, I had to teach. I probably will have to teach a private for a 30 min session. I also have a dancer who is in collage who is interested in dancing in the Rep Series. So, in all...I got a bit of $$$. It really pays off when self employed and you make something. I had a dream about Dr. Taylor this morn--I was getting married to him!! *&^%!!! If only..... {sad face}. I did a Twitter account for Dancer Enterprise...finally. Also, been doing admin work today.....

Just listening to Blue Monday the same song that Roger Taylor spins when DJ'ing! Love that song... and now What Happens Tomorrow....... {his drum work---fantastic. I also saw a new pic of Nikki!!

News, news, and more news.......

There is alot of news to mention and all of it is very good. I don't have time right now to write as I am still working...but it all has to do w/ dance, rep, classes, MISA, and performing. More later....

The first is nearing and so are activities

Well, this might be my last post of the month {??} But, I am not really sure though. The wonderful news I had to share is not the same thing--but is still good, neverthless. Tomorrow, we have to move everything to the other side of the house. So, I planned to have a day of cleaning! Yipee. Sunday, we might go to church, not really sure yet. On Monday thru Wednesday, is back to here {my sanctuary} to return to work. The 1st arrives---and that's when things take off.
I have so many things to accomplish/purchase. Read on to see....

And...... we have to be out and about at 8:30AM til 3PM. It will be nice to divide up our time by going different places we have not been to in a LONG time. Plus, going to rehearsal. I also need to look into inquiring about teaching ballroom. Well, more next week!

All day has been admin work for my Rep Series and just general self promotion. Very important if you are self employed!

Beau, an ex.....what do I call him?

Well, as you have figured out, I have not spoken to the beau in 2 months... I don't care anymore. I did as much as I could being in a different state and all.

As for the ex - well, I might as well move him to the beau status. I don't have a laptop anymore {it was stolen} so, I have IM on my phone and email. I have been IMing him this month and responses {like thats anything new w/ him-he's a teckie} and we do email as well. Well, I have two gift cards and I asked him if wanted to do Red Lobster or movies. I also IM'ed him and told him that I had a dream about him {is true}. We were texting and I was waiting for him {in the dream}. He says this to me 'wonder what kind of dream uuummm" and a devil smiley! In the email re: gift cards he tells me, uuumm, wonder what kind of dream'!! Its not like I didn't tell him what it was about....good grief!
So, I spent part of the day responding to his emails and IM's -- that was fun. Then I had to do some work.

Well, that's my news for the day--better than venting about the folks in Loserville! I might actually have a date soon. What's that like? {oh, yea..its when you get dressed up a bit and the opposite sex takes you somewhere! Been awhile!} Ha Ha!!

I had just spent the past couple of hours emailing to/from with an old employee of my dad's. That was a perfect way to end the evening! I will post what the "2nd best event in 2009" is ..... soon. Last week's recap

Okay......alot has happened!! I been having to update for about a week...and haven't really had the chance. So, here's goes the recap.......

~finally, mom got the offer to drive {after a couple of snags--but all is well now!!}
~met one of the KW people in person--he was nice and gave us a "present" and we had pizza that night and Chinese food the next
~we both met the man who mom is driving for---a medical condition......well, its true. Long story short, he has a boot and is on crutches -- meaning cannot drive. And he's a photographer!
~I got a job offer from the pictures guy. I went to the ladies room and he asked if anyone was looking for a job----talk about a job falling into my lap LITERALLY!!!! So, I did accept the offer and begin this coming Tuesday.
~put an ap in at Bath and Body Works {b/c I want to!!!!}
Today we get to take the photo guy to a photo shoot---very different and new.

So, I have to get out my business clothes and do a little shopping for a couple of new biz outfits + dress shoes. I am also going to see This is It on Saturday--a day that is our own {well, besides Monday}. Also, will have to buy lunch and of course groceries.
And.....today is the 9th annivesary of my father's passing.

Okay....I am going to go real quick--so keep up! That's all I can say.

-I got the car--bought+paid for--that's nice...no notes!!!
-I got my ballroom class sceduled for this coming Monday---real nice instructer--he has an accent--his name is Antonio!
-Have not heard from my new "job"
-Will be starting DE classes in two weeks {mine other biz]
-Already running the company---signing paperwork with LaKiaya tomorrow
-Submited fees for MISA to operate legally---close to $3,000.00 + the new car.
-Doing alot website work, printing, advertising via Blogger/Myspace {whew! where's an assistant when you need one??}
WHAT ELSE??
I have not bought any groceries in 3 weeks---eating out everyday and leftovers for the night time. Also, have not bought me anything remotely fun, well, except for ---
candles, 4 tee's, face care {whoo hoo}, 8 CD's, printer {for biz purpose--of course}, and office supplies!
Hopefully, after next wek's MISa meeting and RDC's meeting I CAN and buy some new clothes--I will need biz clothes for working in the office!!!

And...........this Sunday, I am going up to Cleland, Livingston, Lufkin, and a little farther north. I am bringing the camera this time. {In 2007, when we had a lump sum $$$ we went on a rad trip and no camera--but had plenty of $$$$. Any sense to you? Me neither!}

Back to business

Lost the beg of this damn thing--well....tin the morining is rehearsal!!

Afterwards, we ahve to go look at a Crown Vic.....fingers crossed!! Literally.

Saturday, LaKiaya, is coming to the audition and going to help me with the repertoire section of teaching it. Before, we have to meet and sign all of the contracts!! More later.....but, I need to go to bed-----rehearsal at 11AM!

With so much to do, I am trying to keep up to date--running two biz's {well, one will be operational in about a week and a half}. So, while I update stuff, enjoy........

It came to a crashing halt!

Well, lots of news to tell…and most of it is not good. I had classes--this is what happened.

First my assistant misses class and does not show up to the rest of classes. Second, the two new students were supposed to register Monday, did not. Then, I had a class schedule to teach on Thursday and she cancelled. On the same day, my manager emailed and said her boss was out and all of the flyers had to come off of the doors/windows. That was the last straw. I got fed up tore up the flyers, took everything down, and told her I am not going to do the classes. Of course, she said I was being negative. I figure it this way. I had a business deal go south because of someone dropped the ball, running low on money, and classes did not bring the $$$ in like they are supposed to because no one ever paid {and it was right there in BLACK AND WHITE}.
So, that day was brought to a crashing halt. I still have not emailed my apt. manager back and it has been 2 days.

I did turn it around though----
I decided the one thing that CANNOT be taken away and be told sh*t things is MY SHOW. Already, I have three interested people who will probably be there.

On the door of the fitness room, were my flyers and a man was looking at them and the look on face was like “I can’t workout because of the class schedule everyday’.
Then, Michael Jackson passed away, and that day was me reliving the passing of Hutch all over again.

So, that was my update, outlook, and present state of mind.
Due to all of people’s sh*t--I figure it this way……
You give me problems, well, no one will dance---so everyone suffers…..except for me!

In closing, I have a show to prepare for that I cancelled b/c of a neck injury {should have never done that}. It has been 2 days since this incident and I still feel the same was regarding the classes here. But, my mind is better and more positive.

An Update--finally

Okay....so, after a long wait here is a recap. I spent all last week out of the apartment and getting everything ready for classes. I enrolled four students and five classes were formed. I had an assistant {yes, past tense} but Sat morn she did not show up for class and I was there. Granted, I felt terrible--but my butt was out of the bed and ready for work. I was not happy at all. I am not a morning person and I was up out of the bed!! So, Sat morn was not wonderful........then got back home and went to Deerbrook to eat a bite.
Sunday--the long awaited Criminal Intent and it was good!!! Next weekend is a double eppy--looks good!!
Today, well, is registration and basically, alot of waiting for people to deicde to show up. I am suposed to have 2 young ladies come in a enroll--it is 3:17 PM and no a soul--we'll see!!

June 1st, a fresh beginning

As you can see I have changed this site just a little. Also, I deleted a couple of blogs as well....and did change the format of the posting. Just for a while.

I watched the movie, Taken, and I must reccomend it if you had not seen it. It is an eyeopener to the world of people who take advantage of unsuspecting people. A very good $4.99 spent!!
