Birthday Month!!

Here is my pic of my NEW {my new to me} MP3 player! I have had it since around October 2011. My ex-room mate’s daughter said it doesn’t work. Well, as you can see it has music loaded and it works. Long story short…. After I finished unpacking from moving {I moved Feb 1st}, I looked at it and the guy who was installing new blinds said just charge it up from your laptop. Viola! Poof….. Just like that it works. Now, anyone knows when something is dead it will not operate. But, when you are told {and don’t how to work the device} you think it’s a piece of crap! Well, this month is my b-day--and this is my b-day present. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!
I already have over 200 songs loaded; and about 100-150 photos as well.

Thanksgiving recap {and went well}

Well, I survived the first of two holidays. Turkey Day was good. I felt a little depressed this morn and wanted everyone to know how I felt. I got dressed and mingled a bit with the others; had the holiday dinner; watched a movie and I Love lucy; had pecan pie and more mashed potaoes with giblet gravy. This is the first time sine my father passed that I had dinner with people and watched it being prepared.

Next stop....... Christmas Day........ the 2012!!

Almost February

It is almost time for the special month out of entire year ..... FEBRUARY!! It's my birthday month, too.
I was sick yesterday, so alot of work did not get done. I am catching up today. I downloaded alot of music off Amazon Fri night!
I worked on placing ads, Twitter acc'ts, websites, and my newsletter.
still a little tired.

But, will have to wait until 2011!! Happy New Year to everyone!!

What happens to people when you move on

What a peculiar title? You think??!! Well, I have not written in a month...well, just to pen a short note, I moved from Houston to Katy {Cinco Ranch}and now into our own place---ALL BY OURSELVES!!

I don't really want to go into what has happen in the past month--but its a tale of people showing their true colours --colours that you did not know. But, I am not going to re-hash...because I don't want to go over the events {actually, well, since I am typing then writing it out--again}. I muchather tell it to you personally--which I already did!!

In other news, Bret Micheals was rushed to the hospital with suffering a brain hemmoraige {oops spelling}--he's better now and will make a full recovery. Thank goodness......

The beau and the ex--might as well kick both to the curb..... They don't care enough about me to call. {matter of fact no one calls} I am trying to suck it up and understand in my mind that if you don't have the kindness in your heart to say hello or do something more than an email--well, I don't need you. You CONTACTED ME! Please someone explain this to me. Am I just dunb and don't get it? So, in my efforts to understand people--I have decided to erase everyone out of my life..well, except for the people who have done thier duty as friends to help out.

So, here I am in a new place, a new home, and new tow....Katy, Texas. Sort of feels like home.

So, that's the update folks! And no pics either {sad face}.

Close to the end of the year blog!

Well....it has been 10 days since the last post. Some has happened--some has not. The biggest worry is still present--but not as bad. This worry has been present ever since October. So, with the holidays approaching...its holiday time.

The news that I am supposed to post is this: an old employee of my dad's contacted us and after talking has decided to do some networking for us. In our biz {security} a man is better than a woman. We are also doing some advertising. He said in passing about apartments that offer live on courtesy officers in lieu of monthly rent. So, I slept on it and came to a realization. Why not pitch an idea to apartment communities about live on officers in lieu of rent?? So, we did. It is weird mixing business with looking at apartments. Very foreign!! We visited 2 complexes today and had a good response at one of them. They just opened and are looking to expand out into a 2nd officer. So, we have to bring out an intro letter and speak with the manager Monday.This will help tremendously if we can get a live on in terms of $$$.Mom does most of the talking as I am still learning about how to approach clients. My deal is the office....admin work!

In other news.....I just concluded the last performance of 2009 and for the retirement home. This week I am going to look at some more centers {and bring the portfolio}. I am also working with a young lady in NY who is interested in doing the centers with me.

Really, nothing else to "report"---I am sick of this place and really want to get out of here. It has not been a pleasant place....makes me wish I would have stayed at the first place in Kingwood!!

****Oh, of course, my so called friends have not called once this year to see how I am doing or my mom. They will have a BIG change coming in 2010....a big one!
