The start of a new life....commenced TODAY

Well, after so many false starts, something finally happened that was positive. Mom begun her job today. Her boss offered me a job as well - but, I cannot take it due to my body being out of"whack". Mom works M-F and some Saturday's. Plus, in addition to all of this--she can use the car {pending on the boss's discretion}
Today, I spent at home...tomorrow, I have to go to the store for a couple of grocery items. I believe next Thursday she wants me to come in to help out. So, that will a nice change. I am trying to get used to this change.
We made out a list of things we need to get... alot of things we need {that happens when you loose everything !!}. so, like I have done every other time - I'll loosely list those things. This coming weekend we both are going to Kroger to start stocking up on food...always a great thing!

So...... the list begins.....
-alot of domestic items!!!
-a 2nd cell phone {for mom's job}
-Adele CD
-microwavable plates
-digital camera
-mouse pad
-Yankee candle {tarts, and tealights}
-Bath and Body Works SALE!!!

-clothing for myself and Mom
-shoes for Mom
-new tennis for myself
-earrings

So, with being paid weekly things will be much better. We both spent close to a $1,000.00 for a new laptop. All because our "jackass" friends {if u can call them that} pawned mine last one. But, things will begin to turn anew leaf, so to speak. I suppose all of the above mentioned will not take place right away--but soon.

A new dawn.......... and I can finally go to chiropractor--the adjustment will hurt!

News {and its good}

Life has changed again {no, I haven't met Mr. Mandylor--that would be LIFE ALTERING}. Mom has been offered a driving job--something similar to what she had in Oct 2009--but this time pay comes with it! Whoo Hoo.... So, with that comes alot of changes. Many things need to be listed out on real paper, things purchased, and errands done. My household lists is going to redone. Just think all of this came out of an solar eclipse---they always make things pop in your life! ALWAYS.......

For now, my domestic bliss--only if he was in the domesticity with me!

And December is upon me....

My moment of zen......okay now onward....

I have been away from the computer for a little over two weeks---and just got the laptop back. It had to go on a trip to get me some $$$. Anyways, alot has happened {as always}. Mom and I have come to the conclusion that this thing with the pics guy is not working out. There is a multitude of different things that is not acceptable. Of course, I cannot say anthing--I am not the person who is driving. But what I will say is that this person needs to pull their head out of their a**. There is just so much that is so petty and not to mention the way you show respect to people.
So, the thing will be going back real soon.....


This month has brought me a new thing---I went to a retirement home and inquired how I could help out. I asked if their were any performing arts groups that provide entertianment. Guess what? No, there wasn't Amazing!! I was really surprised. {I suppose watching Joel Osteen does pay off--if you can recall the sermons}

So, I got myself into a gig and and 3 days to pull a show together---matter of fact, I performed this past Saturday. How does one pull a show together in 3 days? Very simple --you have alot of repertoire that has remained stalemated + you perform pieces that you can do in your sleep! That's not all...... there is more. I have 3 more shows to do! Is this unreal or what!! Be careful of what you wish for---because you just might get it. Seriously, I have a real good feeling about this new venture.....I feel its going to last a long time.

Well, that was been going on......went to the store yesterday---the frezer side is totally stocked. You know the light in the freezer? Well, I cannot see mine!!!

With all that is going on----whew! I do have my Pepsi's {5 packs} +plus tons of food---now we are having leftovers in the fridge. Also, bought discounted halloween candy!

Working and riding all over town....and tomorrow {well, today} is to the Galleria. When is the last time I was there??!! Let me think!

Last week's recap

Okay......alot has happened!! I been having to update for about a week...and haven't really had the chance. So, here's goes the recap.......

~finally, mom got the offer to drive {after a couple of snags--but all is well now!!}
~met one of the KW people in person--he was nice and gave us a "present" and we had pizza that night and Chinese food the next
~we both met the man who mom is driving for---a medical condition......well, its true. Long story short, he has a boot and is on crutches -- meaning cannot drive. And he's a photographer!
~I got a job offer from the pictures guy. I went to the ladies room and he asked if anyone was looking for a job----talk about a job falling into my lap LITERALLY!!!! So, I did accept the offer and begin this coming Tuesday.
~put an ap in at Bath and Body Works {b/c I want to!!!!}
Today we get to take the photo guy to a photo shoot---very different and new.

So, I have to get out my business clothes and do a little shopping for a couple of new biz outfits + dress shoes. I am also going to see This is It on Saturday--a day that is our own {well, besides Monday}. Also, will have to buy lunch and of course groceries.
And.....today is the 9th annivesary of my father's passing.

October's update

Well, I did not move....instead the noisy neighbors are moving--and the last date is the 15th. Can you say joy?? Almost a year with stomping around, running in the space, and not to mention the parents are just like children themselves. It's real funny when the parents begin to act like the kids themselves. Showing a positive example to their kids? ---No. Oh well....not my problem anymore!!! So HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am short on $$$ this month--my neighbor did not pay me the loan in Sepember and now I cannot pay all of the rent, not to mention pay the bills. After {and then only} she did confront me and say that she will not be able to pay the entire amount back {really?!}. Of course, then there was the "drama" she was trying to get me enbroiled into---all the time I was thinking "I am going back to bed".
So, now, we have to find a way to recoup some $$--perhaps, by selling off both security biz's. Then the dream is this: sell off the name and invest in a studio. Hopefully, it can become a reality. Well, if God wants it to be, it will be.

The past two weeks, I went to the mall {2 wks in a row}!! I saw Couples Retreat---freakin' hilarious! Loved it....I think Carlos Ponce kinda stole it from Vince Vaugn---a yoga instructor that did not do an inch of yoga! A must see---if you like commedy!
I figure if I am going to be without and its not my fault--I will splurge just a little. I went to Bath and Body Works and got 2 wallflowers {sweet cinnamon pumpkin/creamy nutmeg}, 2 candles {kitchen spice & cimmamon/clove bud}, a new item--body mousse; plus, and old item---foaming body wash--both in Black Amethyst.

Today, is a day of rest {after yesterday's rehearsal} and I am sore. I played LIFE with mom and she won this time I gained about 900 grand and she won!!! Tomorrow, we are going grocery shopping.
And, lastly--the weather---isn't it nice??

Recap from the beginning of the month

So, where to begin? It was a long week/weekend!! I am tired, but satsified {spelling}. Let's start......

Wednesday-- received my mortgage {hooray}, watched a movie with Steven Seagal in it--never seen it and missed the end of it, watched SYTYCD, watched another movie Belly of the Beast
Thursday--got rental {yay}, went to Po Box, Mall, Kroger, ate at Casa Ole, went to Best Buy and bought a 4 pack movie collection of Steven Seagal, Led Zeppelin DVD {but it is going back}, and Queen + Paul Rodgers live CD {great music}.....one of rock's greatest voices {but did I know that? No.}
Friday--had dress rehearsal, and did film as well in costume!
Saturday--stayed home and watched a little of TV, printed out the programs, then stayed a couple of hours at a friends house and talked
Sunday--neighbors were allowing thehir wild animals {children}run around the apartment and it was rude and unethical. Made a complaint. Went to the studio got everything set up...turned on the air. Left and went to grab a small bite to eat. Came back and got ready and then performed.
And.....on top of everything my hips were out of alignment!
Today, I have a couple of things to tend to also. I might have to move if the neighbors are asked to leave--becuse the manager is not talking to me now {b/c she doesn't understnad my views---which is personal and has nothingto do with business}.

The week in rewind {so far}

I have not been on much, due to going here and going there. I am not as tired as I was last night. Still, the going is not over and done with. I'll recap {mini cap}

Wed~~had a meeting w/ my manager and we are setting the trial classes for June 17/18. At that time....I will probably have parents sign up their little ones for the summer.
I have to do a "mock" schedule for the summer classes, registration forms..... basically, what I use for Dancer Enterprise {again, copy/paste}
Then, we went to check the PO Box, pay rent, ate a late lunch {Chinese}, took a book back, bought some old, retired Beanie Babies. Came home and crashed.

Thurs~~We went to Sonic for lunch, pay Comcast {joy joy}, electrical, Kroger to buy a couple of groceries, had Taco abana for dinner {am still stuffed}

Friday~~Chiropracter's app't @ noon, Kinko's, Loew's.....and HAlf price Books and other places I cannot think of at the moment.

Am really looking forward to this Sunday's eppy of LACI!!! It is based on Maddie McCann.

I have finally recovered!!!!

Isn't he just too cute??!! I need something to gaze at after the past week I had! I am just now fully recovered. Last Wednesday, the car came and immediately my ball of my foot and neck were hurting. Both are still hurting almost a week later. So, here's a recap......

Wednesday--went all over Houston. I did my flyers for my show next month {that was a challenge--let me tell you--had to RECREATE it}. Went to Best Buy to find Plant/Page--no avail {came to find out, it is out of print!}; and to Sephora and MAC... Saw Kat Von D's new makeup line {Nikki's girlfriend}.

Thursday--Mom's app't a joke--yea right! Went to visit a friend, and had chinese food.

Friday--Delevered flyers, had Souper Salad for lunch, went to go visit a friend {he worked for us in the 90's and stayed in contact all of these years}. I have noticed since 2006, he looks at me alot--an interested look. Then, had rehearsal and filmed.

Saturday--We went to eat chinese food at an old restaurant we used to go when our office was in the Galleria...and then went to see Star Trek--it was very good!!! FREE--even better!!!! went to HEB to get some odds and ends .. .also, got the Page/Plant DVD

Sunday--back to the studio for more torture---and a bummed foot and neck was alot of fun--plus I was exhausted. Came home to load the vids and watch the new eppy of CI!

Yesterday, was my sweetie's birthday---we are now exactly 10 years apart. today, just relaxing and letting my neck rest--I had to put three hot packs on a nd a application of biofreeze to loosen it up!!! And been working posting this and that!! Also, have a prospectable job for this coming fall!!

May Beginnings - cont'd

Well, evidently no one watched the video...I dunno about people, they don't know what good music is anymore! CLASSIC ROCK MUSIC! Anywho, whatever
I was up until 4 AM - could not sleep. I woke at 9:30 Am....watched a little bit of TV...went back to bed and woke at 2 in the afternoon. All of the checks came in today. My monthly mortgage---well, a snag there....her renter up and left {this happened to me last year--been there, done that}. So, I'll get the majority chunk of it later today and a check postdated--but better than zilch.
So, we went to the store and bought groceries and had alot of greenery {salads, fresh produce, and so forth}. I actually got some Cheetos {oooh, such a bad girl}.
So, sitting this waiting for dinner to get ready and waiting for my money. Tomorrow, we are going to the mall to see X-Men.

Only thing left to do is figure up the balance after bills are paid. Fun!

Plans for a new month

Tomorrow, April is officially over and we began the month of May! Many studios are finishing up their semesters and getting ready for summer camps/classes/intensives. I have done plenty of teaching in camps and classes and I won't lie to you---it is a MADHOUSE. A total nighmare. Reason: the kids aren't the usual ones who come to class--hence, the discpline is not there. I feel sorry for any teacher at summer time.
Note: When teaching kids during the summer--skip the coffee, you won't need it!

Anyways, back to me......On Friday, is the first and I recieve my monthly mortgage {for those who don't know--I sold my house} and it is off to the grocery store. You all know that I buy healthy food---I hardly ever eat chocolate or plain junk. It is so bad for you and not nutritious. Come home and unload for what seems like ages!

Saturday, we are going to the mall {Deerbrook} to eat lunch......and then to see either Star Trek or X-Men. We might do some little shopping, not too sure.
Sunday, is my rehearsal and a rest {because I will need it}, then to watch LO:CI.

Monday and Tuesday--back to work. Wednesday is a chiropracter appointment and other things that I have not planned as of yet. I now that weekend will be two trips to the studio to finish choreogrpahy and film.

Monday--
went to the grocery store and bought about $100.00 worth of food {to cook}, some Pepsi's {I have to have some caffiene}, some salad makings, no candy/junk food.
Wathced DWTS---was pretty good--Derek's dance was the best--a jive to one of Elvis' song...really fun

Tuesday--
been having problems with the internet--damn wireless. So, I called the internet services and they are installing tomorrow!
Other stuff as well. Got to watch NCIS

Wednesday--
Internet installed!!!!!! And its about freaking time!! It was so unreal and pathtic!! So, just here broswing. Also, signed up on Anthony's site--Danceregister--real cool place.
Only 5 more days til Law and Order: Criminal Intent!!!!! I am so excited to see this--been waiting only since November of 2008. All day is a L&O:CI marathon! I WILL NOT be dancing or on the internet!

Have not heard from either guy----am supposed to have a lunchdate with my ex beau--but he cannot seem to answer an email or IM. I don't know about people. well, I am not going to ask him again. I asked once and mentioned plans twice already--I did my part--he's got to be mature and learn how to be accountable. Evidently being divorced and living single has made him irresponsible!
Oh, well...the ball has bounced over into his court, and I don't wait around for people who can't get it together!!

The end to a HORIIBLE month!!!

So, I did not OD from all of the drugs {Midol, Tylenol, and aspirin} I was taking from last Sunday to just two days ago. One more day to go to the end of a horrible month!! Good lord!? I was responding to an email that my “other” sent to me re: the loser who is Pakistanian and were discussing how disrespectful to women.

I have to go to the store to get groceries and dish liquid, dishwasher soap as well. I am sure I will be posting something tomorrow. Can’t wait for the 1st--my Nine Lives box set!!! HOORAY!!!!!!
