The start of a new life Pt II

Well, a new way of life is still continuing, but I believe the driving job has hit its end. She hasn't worked since the last post... actually that Friday. she got paid. I worked the following Tuesday and got paid on the 2nd of July. The 4th came and went. Then, on the 5th of July a check came in the mail. I thought it was a check for buy something and then its yours. No, I saw it was a Social Security check with 4 digits....so, I thought it was a mistake. No, a letter accompanied it saying that this was back pay from Feb thru June 2004. This was before she even applied for it -- as we still had out security company. Talk about a shock + eclipses...they really never lie!!

So, we have bought some things, and still need to get a couple of more things. A couple of the things on the "list" have been purchased....some things still need to get purchased. One day at a time!

Well, after so many false starts, something finally happened that was positive. Mom begun her job today. Her boss offered me a job as well - but, I cannot take it due to my body being out of"whack". Mom works M-F and some Saturday's. Plus, in addition to all of this--she can use the car {pending on the boss's discretion}
Today, I spent at home...tomorrow, I have to go to the store for a couple of grocery items. I believe next Thursday she wants me to come in to help out. So, that will a nice change. I am trying to get used to this change.
We made out a list of things we need to get... alot of things we need {that happens when you loose everything !!}. so, like I have done every other time - I'll loosely list those things. This coming weekend we both are going to Kroger to start stocking up on food...always a great thing!

So...... the list begins.....
-alot of domestic items!!!
-a 2nd cell phone {for mom's job}
-Adele CD
-microwavable plates
-digital camera
-mouse pad
-Yankee candle {tarts, and tealights}
-Bath and Body Works SALE!!!
-Vicky's Secret Dream Angels parfum/mist's
-clothing for myself and Mom
-shoes for Mom
-new tennis for myself
-earrings

So, with being paid weekly things will be much better. We both spent close to a $1,000.00 for a new laptop. All because our "jackass" friends {if u can call them that} pawned mine last one. But, things will begin to turn anew leaf, so to speak. I suppose all of the above mentioned will not take place right away--but soon.

A new dawn.......... and I can finally go to chiropractor--the adjustment will hurt!

Well, 2010 is over and done with.... YES! It was a horrible year!! Just terrible. Today {well, yesterday} I got a laptop. If you have been reading -- then you know it was stolen..... freakin' losers!!! Nothing else to report on...

Halloween

Well, first of the "official" holiday is here...no real posting just a holiday them hello!! A new blog wil return in November! With lots of exciting news......

The ending of October is near, and.....

Listening to Oasis--I know I hate Oasis!! But love Wonderwall--although, I think Robbie Williams does a better job w/ it. Now listening to The Cult! Love them.... Just sitting here at the library {so fun}!! Not really and typing this--very fun--loads of it...wish I had my laptop--that my "friends" stole from me. Oh well, things will change and the tide will feather in my direction!! When it does..... I miss watching TV and being on the laptop at the same time! Oh well........
I had a call for ballet class today and an email for another ballet class--now, watch they are DIFFERENT CLASSES!
And........I was not approved for the disability. That is something that I had a strong feeling about. {it has to do with astrology--and more on that one later}

Well, the lady did not respond back {for mom}--but, it could be nothing at all. Yesterday, I had to teach. I probably will have to teach a private for a 30 min session. I also have a dancer who is in collage who is interested in dancing in the Rep Series. So, in all...I got a bit of $$$. It really pays off when self employed and you make something. I had a dream about Dr. Taylor this morn--I was getting married to him!! *&^%!!! If only..... {sad face}. I did a Twitter account for Dancer Enterprise...finally. Also, been doing admin work today.....

Just listening to Blue Monday the same song that Roger Taylor spins when DJ'ing! Love that song... and now What Happens Tomorrow....... {his drum work---fantastic. I also saw a new pic of Nikki!!

Tomorrow my mother is supposed to have a meeting with a "good tiding" Yay!! Today, I have to teach in 2 hrs and 45 mins! Hip Hop and a new student. More tomorrow -- hopefully with an update!

Close to the end of the year blog!

Well....it has been 10 days since the last post. Some has happened--some has not. The biggest worry is still present--but not as bad. This worry has been present ever since October. So, with the holidays approaching...its holiday time.

The news that I am supposed to post is this: an old employee of my dad's contacted us and after talking has decided to do some networking for us. In our biz {security} a man is better than a woman. We are also doing some advertising. He said in passing about apartments that offer live on courtesy officers in lieu of monthly rent. So, I slept on it and came to a realization. Why not pitch an idea to apartment communities about live on officers in lieu of rent?? So, we did. It is weird mixing business with looking at apartments. Very foreign!! We visited 2 complexes today and had a good response at one of them. They just opened and are looking to expand out into a 2nd officer. So, we have to bring out an intro letter and speak with the manager Monday.This will help tremendously if we can get a live on in terms of $$$.Mom does most of the talking as I am still learning about how to approach clients. My deal is the office....admin work!

In other news.....I just concluded the last performance of 2009 and for the retirement home. This week I am going to look at some more centers {and bring the portfolio}. I am also working with a young lady in NY who is interested in doing the centers with me.

Really, nothing else to "report"---I am sick of this place and really want to get out of here. It has not been a pleasant place....makes me wish I would have stayed at the first place in Kingwood!!

****Oh, of course, my so called friends have not called once this year to see how I am doing or my mom. They will have a BIG change coming in 2010....a big one!

Update is here

So, finally, I am giving an update! I have been running here and there--it seems mad at the moment!! I have not begun working yet....but, it seems like one already. Insane the running around Kingwood/Atascocita/Humble---never have I ran so much. We went to the store last Tuesday and have only cooked 4-5 times complete meals....there were actually leftovers that we were eating. We have to pick up the photo guy between 5 and 6/6:30 in the evening and that doesn't give too much time to cook, does it?

Last Friday we had a shoot in the Galleria--so, Mom and I waited until we got down there to go and eat because there is no Boston Market where we live!

I was going to go to the Worksource--but I opted against it--can they really do the work I have already done? {websites, pro blog, youtube, ectera} I really don't think so. I was also going to apply for a position at The Little Gym of Kingwood--but the woman at the front desk acted as if she could not be bothered to answer a question. So, I decided right there not to fill out the application. An employee's attitude says alot. It says that I don't want to work there!

So...........that's the jobs! Oh, and Bath and Body works have not called me and are NOT going to. call it intuition....just a feeling that's it's not going to work. I really hate having such a strong 6th sense--but what can you do.

I do feel positive about the photographer--I don't know why, but I have not begun working {long story and personal as well}. But, Tuesday I was cleaning the studio {waiting/reception and office} and I'll clean the back--the actual studio section} Fun, fun....

The beau...whatever.....no word at all. This is what happens---I hear from him {usually after I email him} and we converse for about 2 weeks--then its all quiet again. I have went one whole month and nothing. The last time I spoke to him was October 24th! I am seriously thinking about not contacting him for anything--nothing at all. I have news to tell him--but I really feel he doesn't care. Oh well..... Ever since his spat at me in July, I really dont have the same feelings as I once did for him. Something extraordianry happen within a week of his blowup at me that completely made me not think of him and wouldn't really care if it were over. This is how strong this interaction was! A karma thing--and one that you cannot shake. He was my moment of zen---and that day was so unqiue and uplifting {the best day of my life}!

The 2nd best thing was getting my 14K---and I used that not for myself -- but to give to others when I did not have to. Funny, nothing worked out during that time in August and it brought me to where I am today--but, everyone around me is experiencing turmoil and I am not {and I have never been re-paid my loan and do need it to make the rent for two monthes}.

So, I have not had things go to my liking I got two things that I did not ask for---well, actually three. 14K..... a car..... and a "replacement".

October's update

Well, I did not move....instead the noisy neighbors are moving--and the last date is the 15th. Can you say joy?? Almost a year with stomping around, running in the space, and not to mention the parents are just like children themselves. It's real funny when the parents begin to act like the kids themselves. Showing a positive example to their kids? ---No. Oh well....not my problem anymore!!! So HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am short on $$$ this month--my neighbor did not pay me the loan in Sepember and now I cannot pay all of the rent, not to mention pay the bills. After {and then only} she did confront me and say that she will not be able to pay the entire amount back {really?!}. Of course, then there was the "drama" she was trying to get me enbroiled into---all the time I was thinking "I am going back to bed".
So, now, we have to find a way to recoup some $$--perhaps, by selling off both security biz's. Then the dream is this: sell off the name and invest in a studio. Hopefully, it can become a reality. Well, if God wants it to be, it will be.

The past two weeks, I went to the mall {2 wks in a row}!! I saw Couples Retreat---freakin' hilarious! Loved it....I think Carlos Ponce kinda stole it from Vince Vaugn---a yoga instructor that did not do an inch of yoga! A must see---if you like commedy!
I figure if I am going to be without and its not my fault--I will splurge just a little. I went to Bath and Body Works and got 2 wallflowers {sweet cinnamon pumpkin/creamy nutmeg}, 2 candles {kitchen spice & cimmamon/clove bud}, a new item--body mousse; plus, and old item---foaming body wash--both in Black Amethyst.

Today, is a day of rest {after yesterday's rehearsal} and I am sore. I played LIFE with mom and she won this time I gained about 900 grand and she won!!! Tomorrow, we are going grocery shopping.
And, lastly--the weather---isn't it nice??

Well, its official--I wil be moving in 2 weeks!!! Away from the monsters, neanderrthals, and bigfoot upstairs. They are in need of some serious schooling of "how to keep quiet".
I said that I was going to move if they were not gone by September--well, its September and they are STILL HERE! So, I'm leaving!
So, we are moving into a nice little one bedroom {b/c mom is going have to downsize anyways}. I'm selling my mattress/box springs and a couple pieces of furniture. Anyways, the rent will $200.00 less than what we are paying now....AND..... our manger worked it out so that we can transfer {w/ no fee} and offer 1 month free {b/c of the special}.
It is closer to the office and biz center and all {the gym too}!!!
So, I have to begin packing----that will be fun!!!! I am looking forward to it. Plus, I am supposd to be repaid my loan of $1,680.00 from my neighbor. So, in all ...all will be good!! I will be stocking up on groceries.
Classes are slow, but at the place where I resigned is no enrollment either! It is slow everywhere!!!

Okay....I am going to go real quick--so keep up! That's all I can say.

-I got the car--bought+paid for--that's nice...no notes!!!
-I got my ballroom class sceduled for this coming Monday---real nice instructer--he has an accent--his name is Antonio!
-Have not heard from my new "job"
-Will be starting DE classes in two weeks {mine other biz]
-Already running the company---signing paperwork with LaKiaya tomorrow
-Submited fees for MISA to operate legally---close to $3,000.00 + the new car.
-Doing alot website work, printing, advertising via Blogger/Myspace {whew! where's an assistant when you need one??}
WHAT ELSE??
I have not bought any groceries in 3 weeks---eating out everyday and leftovers for the night time. Also, have not bought me anything remotely fun, well, except for ---
candles, 4 tee's, face care {whoo hoo}, 8 CD's, printer {for biz purpose--of course}, and office supplies!
Hopefully, after next wek's MISa meeting and RDC's meeting I CAN and buy some new clothes--I will need biz clothes for working in the office!!!

And...........this Sunday, I am going up to Cleland, Livingston, Lufkin, and a little farther north. I am bringing the camera this time. {In 2007, when we had a lump sum $$$ we went on a rad trip and no camera--but had plenty of $$$$. Any sense to you? Me neither!}

With so much to do, I am trying to keep up to date--running two biz's {well, one will be operational in about a week and a half}. So, while I update stuff, enjoy........

Well, I am sure you have read the previous blog about me getting the rest of the balance from house mortgage. Here's what I am going to do with it!!!
-new office chair
-JAG Season 5/6
-Star Trek: Voyager {last season}
-new business clothes
-2-3 pairs of shoes
-printer/scanner/copier
-second cell phone {upgrade mine and use the old one for the biz}
-movie theatre's to watch movies
-candles {'ll order from my mom}
-shelf system {fingers crossed}
-reams of printer paper!!!!!

Now.......this is after I pay the fees for MISA and get a vehicle. Of course, I could get the $$$ earlier depending on when she gets it. I am getting the hell out of here with this noisy ass neighbors {if they are not moving soon--I am switching apartments--no joke}!!!!!! Then to eat out and shop for two weeks straight--somewhere, in all of that I have to go to the studio to prepare choreography.

Great, great news!!! {HAPPY HAPPY, JOY JOY}

This morn I recieved news that I will be recieving the remainder of the balance for my mortgage in August or before!!! It is a drop in the bucket -- but a couple of thousand will really help {say estimated $14,000.00 give or take}.

WOW! And I was wondering what was going to happen and my friend who has a 6th sense said around Aug/Sept and October things will pick up and improve.
{SIDENOTE--Just sitting here listening to my stereo - All Right Now --- a little portable for teaching here on the property}

Plus, my mom has just begun selling candles and she has a party next Wed. So, guess who gets to clean?? And, I got to begin planning classes for DE for the Fall.

The first "pricetag"---a vehicle - would like a Dodge Dakota....but we'll see!!

Now.....We Will Rock You is playing----great voice---real artist w/ a great band!!

Recap from the beginning of the month

So, where to begin? It was a long week/weekend!! I am tired, but satsified {spelling}. Let's start......

Wednesday-- received my mortgage {hooray}, watched a movie with Steven Seagal in it--never seen it and missed the end of it, watched SYTYCD, watched another movie Belly of the Beast
Thursday--got rental {yay}, went to Po Box, Mall, Kroger, ate at Casa Ole, went to Best Buy and bought a 4 pack movie collection of Steven Seagal, Led Zeppelin DVD {but it is going back}, and Queen + Paul Rodgers live CD {great music}.....one of rock's greatest voices {but did I know that? No.}
Friday--had dress rehearsal, and did film as well in costume!
Saturday--stayed home and watched a little of TV, printed out the programs, then stayed a couple of hours at a friends house and talked
Sunday--neighbors were allowing thehir wild animals {children}run around the apartment and it was rude and unethical. Made a complaint. Went to the studio got everything set up...turned on the air. Left and went to grab a small bite to eat. Came back and got ready and then performed.
And.....on top of everything my hips were out of alignment!
Today, I have a couple of things to tend to also. I might have to move if the neighbors are asked to leave--becuse the manager is not talking to me now {b/c she doesn't understnad my views---which is personal and has nothingto do with business}.

I will REMEMBER to bring the camera this year--so I can take pics!!
Still having issues w/ Twitter. One person in particular won't talk to me--I won't say who, but he knows who HE is! {and I am not talking about anyone who is new} Maybe, I will just block him. See how he like those apples!!
Anyways, today I recieve my July mortgage.

It came to a crashing halt!

Well, lots of news to tell…and most of it is not good. I had classes--this is what happened.

First my assistant misses class and does not show up to the rest of classes. Second, the two new students were supposed to register Monday, did not. Then, I had a class schedule to teach on Thursday and she cancelled. On the same day, my manager emailed and said her boss was out and all of the flyers had to come off of the doors/windows. That was the last straw. I got fed up tore up the flyers, took everything down, and told her I am not going to do the classes. Of course, she said I was being negative. I figure it this way. I had a business deal go south because of someone dropped the ball, running low on money, and classes did not bring the $$$ in like they are supposed to because no one ever paid {and it was right there in BLACK AND WHITE}.
So, that day was brought to a crashing halt. I still have not emailed my apt. manager back and it has been 2 days.

I did turn it around though----
I decided the one thing that CANNOT be taken away and be told sh*t things is MY SHOW. Already, I have three interested people who will probably be there.

On the door of the fitness room, were my flyers and a man was looking at them and the look on face was like “I can’t workout because of the class schedule everyday’.
Then, Michael Jackson passed away, and that day was me reliving the passing of Hutch all over again.

So, that was my update, outlook, and present state of mind.
Due to all of people’s sh*t--I figure it this way……
You give me problems, well, no one will dance---so everyone suffers…..except for me!

In closing, I have a show to prepare for that I cancelled b/c of a neck injury {should have never done that}. It has been 2 days since this incident and I still feel the same was regarding the classes here. But, my mind is better and more positive.
