Deceit, two facedness, double standards, insincerity
That is our world
The world we live in
Perhaps it was like that in BC times
Times were much simpler in the "early" years, but, most of the hypocrisy was swept under the rug
Morals, honesty, sincereness, and graciousness
That was our world
Our world
Before many of us were born
What happened to people?
The angel sits on one shoulder
While the devil sits on the other
The angel is righteous and lives for good
The devil is wild and out of control
The hypocrite, You, has to choose
In the end most people choose to follow the devil's path
One might ask how do we survive in this unpleasant world filled with deceit, fraud, manipulation, and underhandedness?
Simple
We have "angels who sit on people's shoulders and these people follow the honest way of life
How we do continue to see the good in people when hypocrisy is all around?
We have angels guiding good people and they are our hope
