Dreams are what you make them; simple and forthright. I was watching Joel Osteen Monday night, and he was talking about dreams. He said that if you have a dream of doing something, do it, no matter how many times you have failed....because this time might be it! Amazing to hear a man of God say that. Many times I have failed at what I love, but I get right back up and trudge ahead. Only God can stop me from fulfilling my dreams.
I sense in others of why do I try? They do not understand. I walk with God in my career. I serve him by him alowing me to continue to dance and choregraph. He has placed many restraints in my path and I have overcomed all of them. He has placed many wonderful things in my life, and many not-so wonderful things as well. The last hardest peril that I overcame was the mis-representation of my company {2006}. It was a test, and I learned a valuable lesson of not relying on anyone, but yourself. A former boss said to me, "no one is going to care about yor business the way you are, because it is not their's".
After the bull of these people, I am still dancing, choreographing, teaching; just as I was before. Nothing has changed since before I met them. They just made me wiser, that's all. I realized this important thing...
they can say all of the negative things about me; but I do not have to choose to defend those lies. {if i did that I would be handing my power to them}
They cannot stop me from doing what it is I love. Only the higher power can do that; and frankly, they are only mortals, therefore, incapable of such action.
