Addicted

An on the spot piece of poetry.....

your life was like living in hell
the demons were immense
had a strong hold on you
life
family
and much more
to finally kick that habit is amazing and be here today
i guess the Lord saw fit for you to not be taken
you were meant to do wonderful things with your life
keep your "day job"
instigate other changes in your life--
wonderful children
form additional hobbies
in you i found something i had for many years in my life
i never had the excess
but i had the degrading factor in my life
found Lord and survived
