I thought I'd elaborate on life/dance. Throughout the years, I have learned and realised that dance is not priorty 1. I suppose when I was in my late twentie's I spoke of dance non-stop. People didn't want to hear it! I see all of the time people talking about dance like it was in the oval office. One has to wonder if there's nothing else in their life. Believe me young folks --it DOES get boring for others to hear. They may get uppity about it because what you have to relise is that this is not their field. Even a collague of mine, when we speak--its not about dance....and she owns a studio, teaches, choreographs, blah, blah. And....her sister--no, no talk about dance--and they are both successful!
So, in hindsight......keep the "dance" lowkey.
Who knows, maybe that's all their life consists of---BORING! A sort of a loser.
