Dance 24/7 OR When I am too old to dance, then what?

Good Lord! I really worry about dancers who have nothing else to do than write about dance. Insanity! Is dance all they know? Is it the only thing that is meaningful in their life? Surely, there is something more tangible in the life of a dancer---mine is. Family, friends, vacation, goals, desires, ectera... I wonder. I really do wonder. People will sooner or later get sick of hearing about dance, dance, dance. Good Lord!! Enough already! To make it sound worse---being under the weather and not being able to dance equals nothing to write about. Granted when I am sick I do not write. When I am sick! Nevertheless, you are not sick all of the time and you can not dance 24/7. I found that out the hard way--it is very lonely having dance consume your time and not letting real people in. I was in my early twenties and did eat, sleep, drink dance---but, I was never as pathic as not to have something to write about other than DANCE! The younger generation!!!

I had the interesting chat with another about the above---and it is enlighting. If someone is rambling on about something, then it must mean that they have to prove to the world and themselves that they are confident. In fact, they are not confident in themselves. You don't see "stars" repeat their glories over and over again {proving their worth/accolades}---it makes them look pompous. In retrospect, a person who constantly speaks about themselves and their achievements is a pomopous ass. They make websites for that.....that is where it should go for the public.

I have one thing to say about dance...
What happens when you can't dance anymore?? Has any dancer planned for this question? Do you have a plan B?? Can you support yourself after your dance career is over? {more on this later}

I had a nap earlier--which is unusual! I guess I was tired. I did get to watch NCIS and now I am here typing. Whoo Hoo. Now, I have a headache---won't subside. Oh well.......a hot shower with water hitting my head.

Well.........off to load more pictures! Loads of fun! NOT!
