Now for some seriousness...yes, I can be very serious and passionate as well. People who know me know that {even my sworn "enemies"--only in their head} But, newer persons don't really know me. I was reading a diary by an artiste and could see his discernment for the stupidity of other people. While, I do agree--who really writes an article and gets the so called facts wrong--I'm sorry they are not facts--but a made up series words thrown together. You write for a column, newspaper, ectera and get a portion of the writing wrong---are you really a professional? I have to beg the differ. So, obviously, when people are reading your article and they read the "facts" {this is where you laugh} they are going to get upset. It is normal-if you have a soul inside of your body.
So, in telling people the facts {as if they did not know them} is useless--beacause they have you squarly in their circle of power. Yes, it does upset me when I see negative reactions -as I have expierenced -but rising above them and not pushing the issue is alot better...because the person is saying, "Damn, I can't make them retort." Also, addressing the issue of power--don't let others who are less deserving get your power--it is not worth it. Simply.
I do understand the feeling of anger in seeing people {especially a journalist} write a story and parts or all of is not true. When reading something like that one really has to wonder what type of person it is!! Obviously, someone who is not happy with their lot in life {Perhaps, they are jealous because they actually have to WORK for a living.}
In closing, Jim, you really don't want me to tell the person what I think of her story--she would be looking for a new story!
