Well....it has been 10 days since the last post. Some has happened--some has not. The biggest worry is still present--but not as bad. This worry has been present ever since October. So, with the holidays approaching...its holiday time.
The news that I am supposed to post is this: an old employee of my dad's contacted us and after talking has decided to do some networking for us. In our biz {security} a man is better than a woman. We are also doing some advertising. He said in passing about apartments that offer live on courtesy officers in lieu of monthly rent. So, I slept on it and came to a realization. Why not pitch an idea to apartment communities about live on officers in lieu of rent?? So, we did. It is weird mixing business with looking at apartments. Very foreign!! We visited 2 complexes today and had a good response at one of them. They just opened and are looking to expand out into a 2nd officer. So, we have to bring out an intro letter and speak with the manager Monday.This will help tremendously if we can get a live on in terms of $$$.Mom does most of the talking as I am still learning about how to approach clients. My deal is the office....admin work!
In other news.....I just concluded the last performance of 2009 and for the retirement home. This week I am going to look at some more centers {and bring the portfolio}. I am also working with a young lady in NY who is interested in doing the centers with me.
Really, nothing else to "report"---I am sick of this place and really want to get out of here. It has not been a pleasant place....makes me wish I would have stayed at the first place in Kingwood!!
****Oh, of course, my so called friends have not called once this year to see how I am doing or my mom. They will have a BIG change coming in 2010....a big one!
